2024 UPDATE

The fishing outlook for 2024 looks good. Our snowpack is at about 70 percent of normal, so far. The snow  feeds all of the streams in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado.

This year marks the first year that the native fish restoration in the Valle Vidal has been completed and open for fishing. It affords an excellant opportunity to catch and release native Rio Grande cutthroat trout.
